Carolina has decided to expand her knowledge about sustainability beyond the lab bench. Currently, she is an Industrial Ph.D. candidate at Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and Umlaut – part of Accenture (Cologne, Germany). In her research, she investigates the main barriers to successful business transformations toward more sustainable outcomes under a multidisciplinary and systems-based perspective.
As part of the Biobased Value Circle consortium (Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Industrial Doctorate), she works at the interface between academia and business in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
